In Japan Honda is all set to release its 2021 CBR250rr model.
Equipped with a water-cooled, 4-stroke, DOHC, 4-valve, in-line 2-cylinder 249cc engine.
Last we saw Honda updated the CBR250rr was in 2018. However, when we compare both the 2018 and the current model. There is no difference in the specs.
The difference in 2018 and 2021 Model
The updates are more on the paint scheme. Honda has not created any new paint scheme; however, for Grand Prix Red, Matt Gun Powder Black Metallic and Pearl glare white, there are multiple changes.
2018 Model Grand Prix Red
Colour on the fuel tank is red. The upper portion of the headlight gets red colour. Rims are black. Honda logo is black.RR sticker is close to the front shock absorbers that too in black with white outline. The rear is in red, with silver stripes.
2021 Model Grand Prix Red
The fuel tank is black. The upper portion of the headlight gets black colour with a thick red stripe. Rims are golden.
Honda logo is red.RR sticker is placed away from the front shock absorbers and in black colour. Side panel gets black sporty graphics. Similarly, the lower section of the engine protector gets the red graphics.
Here the rear gets only red colour.
2018 Model Matt Gun Powder Black Metallic
Notable to see are few changes Honda logo is white.
Front cowl is an entire black.RR sticker is close to the front shock absorbers and is in black.
Rims are black. Rear section gets a red stripe.
2021 Model Matt Gun Powder Black Metallic
Logo comes in red. Front cowl is black plus it gets a thick red stripe.
RR sticker is placed away from the front shock absorbers and in black colour. Side panel gets black sporty graphics. Similarly, the lower section of the engine protector gets the red graphics.
Rims are golden, and the rear section is black.
2018 Model Pearl Glare White
Front cowl is white. The frame and rims are in black colour.RR sticker is close to the front shock absorbers and is in black with a red outline.CBR in mentioned on the side panels. Rear section gets red stripe.
2021 Model Pearl Glare White
Front cowl is white with the red stripe. In 2021 model the frame comes in red and rims get golden touch.RR sticker is placed away from shock absorbers and is in light grey colour.CBR is removed from the side panels. The rear section is in entire white colour.
There are no changes in the 2018 Grand Prix red (stripe) and 2021 Grand Prix red (stripe) model apart from the rims for 2021 they are golden, and for 2018 they are black.
Price
There is a considerable rise in the price of the 2021 model.

Honda plans to release the new CBR250rr on September 18th (Friday) and is expected to sale 400 units annually in Japan.
