Mutt Motorcycles’ new GT-SR is the next generation of performance- and style-focused motorcycles. Distinguished by its classic café racer silhouette, vintage chrome accents, and muscular stance, the British marque’s retro roadsters have always been a popular choice for trendy youth and nostalgia-riddled fiftysomethings alike.

British retro-inspired brand Mutt has released a new model to its GT-SR single-cylinder platform. The GT-SR returns a modern interpretation of the classic café racer, but with the latest technology available within the 125cc and 250cc engine sizes.
The GT-SR isn’t pretending to be anything but what it is — a road-oriented bike with a comfortable stance and solid lines while maintaining Mutt’s penchant for solid engineering and quality artistry.
The fuel tank and side panels are crafted from durable metal that gives the motorcycle just the right amount of bulk yet help keep its weight down.
Inspiration
Inspired by modern retro sport customs and designed to be a more raw and rugged motorcycle, both bikes include a 5-speed transmission. The GT-SR features a Satin Black Paint base with contrasting Silver Graphics on the tank, fuel tank cover and rear cowl.
All body panels have received a black anodized finish. The bike arrives equipped with a Bates-style triple-tail light, stainless steel exhaust and ribbed fender mounts to reduce vibration noise.
The new roadster Mutt GT-SR borrows a few parts from the Fat Sabbath and Mongrel, but it’s a unique motorcycle with a 130-section rear tire, 120-section front tire, and 18-inch wire-spoked wheels to keep control on modern roads.
The wide flat handlebars and bodywork echo classic bikes like the Triumph Bonneville while offering contemporary features like LED indicators and a three-gallon aluminium tank. It’s a modern take on the retro experience that doesn’t skimp on style or usefulness.
Urban
The GT-SR 125cc and 250cc models serve a wide range of urban and beginner riders with their classic looks and practical mechanicals.
Both bikes get the Delphi fuel injection. The 125cc calibrates to 11 hp with 7.4 lb-ft of torque, having 60 mph as the top speed. At the same time, the 250cc makes 17 hp and 13.3 lb-ft of torque, having 70 mph as its top speed. Both these bikes arrive with 5-speed transmission.
The GT-SR Retro Roadster is a 125cc and 250cc retro bike with chunky, cafe racer styling that harkens back to Mutt’s most popular offerings.
But as you know, they are entirely separate motorcycles, with the GT-SR Retro Roadster starting at £3695 ($4,500) while the larger GT-SR 250 retails for £4495 ($5,500).
