The muffler can have a considerable impact on your bikes performance, odour emissions and sound. Because of this, exhausts are a bike owner’s pride and joy.
And we are talking about the new mufflers from Vespa for their specific models.
If you’re familiar with the name Polini, then you know that they’re a manufacturer and distributor of high-quality performance Vespa parts and pieces.
They’ve been around for decades, and their expertise in the industry is well documented.
But Polini has decided to venture out even more by venturing into some brand new territory.
It isn’t something you see every day, as most manufacturers stick with what they know. But Polini went on ahead and developed an exhaust for some classic-styled scooters – specifically for the Vespa PX125/150 – and PE200.
Vespa models
The two kits offered by Polini are made with the Vespa PX125/150 and PE 200 in mind.
These engines gave owners a lot to work over the years, even though they’ve become somewhat of an afterthought for Piaggio.
Polini has entirely redesigned the mufflers. The exhaust systems are finished in black to show off their performance-centric nature, while one is tuned to bring out more power for acceleration.
The other muffler ensures to improve top speed on both types of scooters.
Polini has designed these exhausts for both looks and sound. The PX muffler is like one big performance-enhancing cat.
The whole unit draws clean air in via its large holes.
Then vents burnt exhaust gases through the same path before shooting clean air out its other side thanks to another set of four holes.
And this alone makes it very efficient at burning all the fuel you feed it with, but Polini went further with this upgrade.
It doesn’t mean that the company only works on machinery for racing, however.
Anyone with a scooter or motorcycle can attest to this. Polini has done its part to improve the performance of these two vehicles for years now, but it seems they’re always coming up with something new to revolutionize them further.

Consider keeping this link with you because Polini will likely continue to develop its products over time.
There are two unique codes for these products. Code 200.2019/S for the Vespa PX 125 or 150s, and Code 200.2023/S for the Vespa PE 200, and they will cost you € 163.50 and € 171, respectively, without tax.
