RS 660 patentEngine
The Euro5 Aprilia 660 RS 2020 gets the parallel twin-cylinder forward-facing, 4-stroke, liquid-cooled with water oil radiator and heat exchanger, double overhead camshafts (DOHC) with a silent chain on the right side, four valves per cylinder.
The engine
The motor is capable of producing 100 hp (73.5 kW) at 10500 rpm and 67.0 Nm (6.83 kg) at 8500 rpm.
Fuel System
It gets an airbox with front dynamic air intakes, two Ø48-mm throttle bodies, ride-by-wire engine management.
The RS 660 comes with the step ahead inertial platform which has six-axis. Now, it also has the accelerometers and gyroscopes capable of understanding the real-time conditions. Intelligent right?

Frame
It is aluminium dual beam chassis with removable seat support subframe.
The front suspension consists of Kayaba 41-mm stanchion fork with aluminium radial calliper mounting bracket. Adjustable spring preload and rebound damping. 120 mm wheel travel.
The rear suspension has asymmetric aluminium swingarm. Adjustable mono-shock in spring reload, rebound braking—130-mm wheel travel.
Braking system
Front ABS: double-disc, diameter 320 mm Brembo radial callipers with four Ø32-mm opposing pistons. Radial pump and metal braided brake hose.
Rear: Ø220-mm disc; Brembo calliper with two Ø34-mm separate pistons. Pump with integrated tank and metal braided hose Multimap ABS Cornering.

In Europe, the RS 600 comes with Euro 11,300 as a price tag which comes close to Rs 10 Lakh. However, Aprilia RS 660 price in India may get a hike.
