Benelli has unveiled the 2021 Leoncino 800 and 800 Trail.

Both these models now comply with Euro5 standards.

The stylish modern retro scrambler comes with 754cc liquid cool four-stroke twin which makes  76.2 hp at 9000 rpm and 68Nm at 6500 rpm.

The motor gets support from the 6-speed transmission. Double overhead camshaft distribution, throttle body with 43mm.

Plus the motor gets more support from the clutch with torque control and anti-skip function and cylinders having suitable four valves.

The curvy chiselled fuel tank gets a muscular stance with a more upright handle which helps the rider to cruise for long rides plus a day to day city commutes. The tank we all see also comes with the tradition Benelli logo.

The front fender houses Benelli’s trademark Lion which looks more subtle and goes with the Benelli DNA. Lion gets special attention. The tubular trellis frame ensures the bike is more robust and handles well.

The headlights are LEDs similar to its younger sibling Leoncino 250. Brembos are responsible for carrying out trusted braking duties with a double 320mm diameter semi-floating four-piston radial monobloc calliper.

As far as the rear goes, it comes with 260mm diameter disc with double piston calliper supported by ABS.

When it comes to suspension, the 2021 Benelli Leoncino 800 the front has 50mm Marzocchi upside-down fork with 130mm excursion.

With 15 litres tank, the wheels are 17-inch spoked wheels with tires having 120/70-17 and 180/ 55- 17 diameter.

800 Trail

On the other hand, Benelli also brings the new amended Leoncino 800 Trail. The new 800 trail is updated more from both the aesthetic angle, as well as technical changes.

We see the updated chassis, and suspension duties are performed by 50mm Marzocchi upside-down fork which goes from 130mm to 140mm on the trail.

The same we see at the rear with adjustable central mono swingarm having a hydraulic brake in extension which is 140mm.

The seat height, therefore, gets a rise from 805mm to 830mm. The wheels are 17 inches and 19 inches at the rear and front with 120/70 and 170/60 tires.

The new 800 Trail also comes with vital offroad components, and they are the twin-pipe exhaust located just below the set.

The heat shield, as well as the number, is present on the side.

Price is yet not unveiled; however, the model will be available within the first six months of 2021.
