Kawasaki has unleashed the new Versys 650 BS6 in India with a price tag of Rs 6.79 lakhs (ex-showroom).

And interested motorcycle enthusiasts are eligible to book the new Versys.

The Versys 650 BS6 is only available in a single Candy Lime Green colour paint scheme.

There are no changes in the aesthetics and design, and thus the sharp tourer styling remains as is.

The only difference we could make out is the new Candy Lime Green paint scheme.

The upgraded 649 cc parallel-twin engine boasts of the 66 PS of power which is 3 Ps less when compared to the outgoing Versys.

And 61 Nm of torque which is again 3 Nm less compared to the outgoing Versys.

 At the front, the Versys is equipped with 41 mm inverted telescopic forks with adjustable rebound damping.

While at the rear the Versys comes with adjustable preload (left-side) upfront and offset laydown single-shock with remote spring preload adjustability.

As for brakes they are dual 300 mm petal discs at the front and single 250 mm petal disc at the rear.

The fuel tank is capable of carrying the 21 litres for long commutes the tourer also comes with the windscreen and 17-inch wheels and the wide handlebar for long rides.

Kawasaki has hiked the price tag by Rs. 10,000, which is minimal.
