Zarco and Oliveira were immediately quickest with a bone dry track at Mandalika MotoGP FP2. Zarco then went even quicker, but Quartararo was on a mission too.

The Johann Zarco and Miguel Oliveira went toe to toe rather than their FP1 time.

Miguel Oliveira clocked 1:34.499s in the morning while Zarco went ahead and set 1:33.310s.

Fabio Quartararo led the way on the opening day of MotoGP’s FP2 at Mandalika but wasn’t top for long as Takaaki Nakagami blasted to the top of the timesheets.

It wasn’t the end when Frenchmen Quartararo had to stop at the exit of turn two due to a technical issue.

Later on, turn seven, Marc Marquez saved himself, and he had almost the rear of RC213V Repsol Honda.

Marquez made sure the save had no impact on him, and later, he joined Miguel Oliveira.

Like FP1, Francesco Bagnaia was slow in FP2 and not in the top ten. However, later, Bagnaia made sure to be sixth fastest behind Miguel Oliveira and moved to P2.

On the other end, the Suzuki rider Mir was last on his GSX-RR machine. He suffered a trip as he misjudged the speed at the final corners.

Mir did not stay behind for long after his arrival at to pit. Mir went up to be in the fourth position on the table. However, again he went down drop to 20th.

Meanwhile, Quartararo’s French counterpart Johann Zarco bettered his result to finish third and fourth.

On the other hand, Enea Bastianini went down at turn 13. At the same time, the Honda rider Marc Marquez went down at turn 11.

However, both Honda riders Marquez and P. Espargaro will have to improve in FP3.
