One standout feature of the Verge TS Ultra is its fast-charging capability. The company claims that the bike can be fully charged in just 35 minutes, a remarkable achievement in the electric vehicle industry. This feature addresses one of the main concerns for electric vehicle adoption: the time it takes to recharge.
In terms of performance, Verge Motorcycles boasts impressive figures for the TS Ultra. The bike produces 1,200 newton meters of torque (approximately 885 pound-feet) and 201 horsepower. It also reportedly achieves a zero-to-60 mph time of 2.5 seconds. While it is common for manufacturers to be optimistic with their performance claims, if these numbers are even close to accurate, it would indeed be a remarkable achievement for Verge.
Overall, the combination of eye-catching design and impressive performance claims has helped Verge Motorcycles create a buzz around their products. The company’s presence at CES signifies the increasing convergence between the motorcycle and tech industries, and its ability to captivate audiences, both existing riders and potential new ones, is a testament to its success at the event.
On May 15, 2023, Verge officially launched the Mika Häkkinen Signature Edition electric motorcycle. This limited edition bike was designed with Mika Häkkinen, the two-time Formula One champion and Finnish national hero, who joined the Verge Advisory Board and invested in the company.
The Verge Mika Häkkinen Signature Edition is a high-performance electric superbike, with only 100 units being produced. It features carbon fibre fairings and a ceramic surface coating treatment to enhance its appearance and provide scratch resistance. Each bike in the Signature Edition is numbered and includes a special plaque with Häkkinen’s exclusive signature. According to Häkkinen, he designed the bike down to the smallest detail, ensuring it embodies speed, precision, and elegance. He believes it represents the future of riding and reflects a life lived to the fullest.
The Verge Mika Häkkinen Signature Edition is based on the TS Pro platform and boasts impressive performance specifications. It generates 1,000 newton-meters (737.5 pound-feet) of torque and 102 kilowatts (136.8 horsepower).
