Honda has a definite plan to discontinue the CB400SF. The rich history of CB400SF goes back when Honda started production of CB400SF in 1992 in the Kumamoto plant.

The bike weighs 200 kg and has 53.0 hp of power with 18 L of fuel capacity.

It comes with three paint schemes Glint Wave Blue Metallic, Pearl Flash Yellow, and Candy Blazing Red (two tones).

  • Like CRF250L and CRF250RALLY, the CB400SF is the plan to be discontinued.
  • End of production in May 2020.
  • The successor model will come out after 2022.
  • I have not heard anything about the normal CB400SF.

Here is the dealer the latest dealer information from Japan.

End of production

Dealer information below

There is no information about ordinary CB400SF and CB400SB this time.

Do we see any successor model?

The train car CB400SF has been discontinued, and the successor model will come out after 2022.

This is a training vehicle. We expect this model will change in the future.

The possibility of succession is also based on the CB400F. The CB400F again weights less i.e., 178 kg and carries more power i.e., 37 hp.

Also, the refreshing BOY large motorcycle training car has been changed from the 4-cylinder CB750F to the 2-cylinder NC750S, and the ordinary motorcycle training car can be changed from CB400SF to CB400F.

What is interesting to see is how Honda comes with the new successor of CB400SF.

Will it be the CB400F they will revamp? Or

Will, there be an entire new naked platform of 400cc is something to look at.
