Honda’s January sales have shown a 20 per cent year-on-year (YoY) drop. Honda announced in their recent press release. Compared to 4,37,183 units sold in the same month last year. Honda’s sales fell to 3,54,209 units in January 2021.
However, it has been stated that out of this figure, 3,15,196 units were sold in India. Whereas 39,013 units were exported to international markets.
The Japanese two-wheeler major didn’t reveal model-wise sales figures in a statement. But it is expected that most of the sales came from scooters such as Activa and CB Shine.

Last month, it also launched two new models, CB300R and CB650R, which are being sold through its network of BigWing stores at pricing that makes it difficult to justify.
