Take a look at Honda’s portfolio, and we could see there are no lower displacement Adventure Enduro apart from the higher displacement 1100cc Africa Twin.
However, Honda has three bikes that look like Adventure Enduro VFR800X, NC750X and NC750X DCT. But then these don’t fall under the pure Adventure Enduro category.
Which does mean Honda is missing the link of upper midsize Adventure Tourer. Which could lock horns with KTM 890 Adventure or Yamaha Tenere 700.
Yamaha is in the process to build the new Tenere 700 Travel.
However, now Rumors does suggest Honda has the plan to bring the Trasnalp an Adventure Tourer.
In the US, the name Transalp was expired in 2016. However, when it came to other parts of the world, Honda still owned the rights to use the name.
The introduction of the new Adventure Tourer of this size will help Honda.
