100 charging stations

The plan to set up 100 charging stations across Tamil Nadu over the next 5 years, including 5 ultra-fast charging stations (DC 150 KW +DC 60 KW), 10 Single Fast Charging Stations (DC 150 KW) and 85 Single Fast Charging Stations (DC 60 KW), will help develop the local charging infrastructure and promote electric mobility in the state. The move will also address the range of anxiety concerns of EV buyers and encourage more people to switch to electric vehicles.

Including ultra-fast charging stations, single fast charging stations, and deploying charging stations in different locations will make charging more accessible and convenient for EV owners.

The investment will go into electric vehicle development, modernization of vehicle platforms, battery pack assembly, and setting up charging infrastructure in the state.
