Aimé Leon Dore’s collaboration with Porsche seems to be continuing, and this time they have worked on a Porsche 356. The Porsche 356 is a classic sports car produced by Porsche from 1948 to 1965.
It is one of the most iconic and influential sports cars ever, so it’s no surprise ALD chose this model for its latest collaboration.

Design
Midnight Blue paint is a classic, sophisticated colour complements the 356B’s elegant design. The yellow-lensed fog lights and wire headlight cover enhance the car’s vintage look and provide practical benefits for driving in low visibility conditions.
The custom gold Aimé Leon Dore tailgate badging and bespoke ALD decklid grille emblem add a touch of exclusivity and luxury to the car’s design. The hand-painted gold crest on the car’s fender is a subtle yet elegant detail adds to the car’s overall charm.
Removing the bumper’s fore and aft is a bold choice streamlines the car’s silhouette and gives it a sleeker appearance. Custom Porsche 356B is a testament to the beauty and versatility of classic cars and the creativity and skill of custom car builders.

Overhaul
The classic Porsche has undergone a significant overhaul in its exterior and interior features. The brushed aluminium wheels and whitewall tires give the car a classic, retro look. At the same time, adding disc brakes at all four corners is a significant safety upgrade from the drum brakes were installed initially.
Moving inside the car, the Midnight Blue leather trim adds a touch of luxury and sophistication to the cabin. Using tonal embroidery, tartan plaid, and Midnight Blue alpaca creates a unique and visually interesting interior design. The Carrera 2 steering wheel with genuine gold leaf accents is also a stylish addition to the car’s updated interior.
The public debut of this car is scheduled for May 5th, 2023, at Aimé Leon Dore’s flagship store located at 224 Mulberry Street in New York City.
