Michael Fux

In the elite world of luxury cars and avid collectors, few names stand out as prominently as Michael Fux. With a staggering collection that boasts more than 100 cars, Fux continually sets trends and breaks boundaries. His latest acquisition is a testament to his unique taste and passion for automotive excellence – the first US-delivered Rolls-Royce Spectre. As we delve into this new chapter of Fux’s collection, we explore what makes this addition special and the significance of his growing electric vehicle portfolio.

His latest addition is particularly special – he’s now the first in the US to receive the highly coveted Rolls-Royce Spectre, marking it as his third electric vehicle.

While Fux’s collection spans a wide range of models, his recent foray into the world of electric vehicles has been notable. “I now possess three electric cars: the Spectre, a Hummer EV, and a Tesla Plaid,” he shared at the delivery event in Miami. Fux was also anticipated to be the first American owner of the Hispano Suiza Carmen Boulogne, a stunning Italian EV. However, circumstances shifted, and the car was never delivered to him.

The Rolls-Royce segment of Fux’s collection is nothing short of impressive. From a vivid orange Cullinan and a captivating Blue Candy Dawn to a mesmerizing Green Jade Pearl Wraith, it’s clear that Fux has an eye for unique customization. He takes it a step further with 12 bespoke colours named in his honour, with ‘Fuxia’ standing out as the most recognized. Interestingly, his newly acquired Spectre adopts a more understated design, featuring a Tempest Grey exterior combined with a pristine white leather interior accentuated with yellow piping.

However, this won’t be his only Spectre. Fux hinted at a more personalized version in the works, “I’m closely collaborating with Rolls on it, and it’s going to be a showstopper,” he chuckled. The delivery of this customized gem is slated for the end of 2024.

Hummer EV Edition 1

The Rolls-Royce Spectre is the pinnacle of his electric collection in terms of cost. With a starting price of $422,750, it dwarfs the costs of his other EVs – the Hummer EV Edition 1 at just over $112,000 and the Tesla Model S Plaid at approximately $91,380.

Those eyeing the Spectre might need a lesson in patience. As per Torsten Muller-Otvos, the outgoing CEO of Rolls-Royce, the current wait list extends to a staggering 15 months, pushing potential ownership to 2025 or later. As for Fux, being first does have its privileges.

Conclusion

Michael Fux’s addition of the Rolls-Royce Spectre to his collection isn’t merely about owning another luxury car; it’s a statement of his commitment to embracing the future of automotive technology while maintaining an unwavering standard for luxury. With a waitlist that extends well into 2025 for the Spectre, Fux’s early acquisition reaffirms his position at the pinnacle of car collectors. As the automotive industry shifts gears towards a greener future, collectors like Fux are leading the way, blending opulence with sustainability in a manner that only few can achieve.
