Back in May 2019, we said that Kawasaki will bring 250cc stacked with 4 cylinders and were going to unveil at Tokyo Motor Show well we were not wrong and then that followed many teasers.

However, we got to see this little Kawa all packed to show some muscle at the Tokyo Motor Show. Now, this also eventually makes Kawasaki only motorcycle manufacturer to stack 4 cylinders in 250cc. Wonderful isn’t it.

The ZX-25 R gets a tubular steel frame and gets a lot of power in the middle. The design takes cues from elder siblings with exhausts that get an opening near the right pillion footrest. The radial monoblock is used to slow down the brake calipers. It also gets traction control and riding modes plus quick-shifter making it one of its kind in the 250cc segment.

While Kawasaki has already brought Bimota an Italian classic motorcycle brand that makes some wonderful stuff as well as they have unveiled the new Z H2.

The above now also forces us to think

  • Is Kawasaki changing the basic DNA of motorcycles?
  • Are the neo-classic retros coming back?

If this is the case then we are heading towards a large motorcycle revolution.
