News: Yamaha announced 2020 model YZF-R125 / YZF-R3 (YZF-R25) / YZF-R6

Yamaha announced its 2020 lineup of YZF-R125 / YZF-R3 (YZF-R25) / YZF-R6.

Below are amended color schemes.

2020 European model YZF-R125

The new paint schemes introduced are Icon Blue while other paint schemes like Competition white and Black are been continued.

2020 European model YZF-R3

The new paint schemes introduced Icon Blue and Midnight Black. It ’s a combination of black and matte black. 

2020 European model YZF-R6

New Yamaha R6 gets two new paint schemes Icon Blue and Midnight Black.

2020 European model YZF-R1

New Yamaha R1 gets two new paint schemes Icon Blue and Midnight Black. To save the costs you must have observed the Icon Blue and Midnight Black are introduced in other models like 2020 R6 and R3.

This also shows that all these models are aligned with one another and they are of the same DNA.

2020 American model YZF-R3

American 2020 model YZF-R3 gets the same Icon Blue and Matte Black as that of Europe plus there is a new color introduced called Matter Silver and that is exclusive for the US.

2020 American model YZF-R6

American 2020 model YZF-R6 gets the same Icon Blue and Raven as that of Europe plus there is a new color introduced called Vivid Orange / Matte Raven and that is exclusive for the US. The paint schemes are usually different in the US for Yamaha models as compared to other countries because sales are high.

For YZF-R3 (YZF-R25), the paint schemes that come into Japan are almost the same color as Indonesia. However, will have to wait and watch as Indonesia still has not announced the 2020 Yamaha models.

But out gut feeling is that Blue and Black paint schemes won’t change.

Also we here that YZF-R6 2020 model is not EURO 5 compliant so we will have to wait till 2021 for EURO 5 compliant.
