After Yamaha filed patent for its 3 wheeler back in Nov 2015 whereby the left and right wheel operates independently.The patent is similar to what Bikesocial has released the renderings although pictures are not official.Rumors were buzz after Yamaha had launched Niken that it may come with something similar but in lower displacement.

The straddle-type vehicle according to the present invention has a left steered wheel, a right steered wheel, and a non-steered wheel positioned in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle body with respect to the left steered wheel and the right steered wheel.
The left brake unit for braking the rotation of the left steered wheel, the right brake unit for braking the rotation of the right steered wheel, the tilt detection unit for detecting the tilt state of the vehicle body, and the left brake unit;
A left pipe, a right pipe communicated with the right brake part and filled with brake fluid, and a hydraulic pressure control part capable of independently adjusting the brake hydraulic pressure in the left pipe and the brake hydraulic pressure in the right pipe;
In at least a part of the time zone, in accordance with the inclination state of the vehicle body, the fluid pressure control unit is instructed to lower one of the brake fluid pressure in the left pipe and the brake fluid pressure in the right pipe. It has an ABS trigger unit. ”
