The Philippines now gets the much-awaited new Himalayan. The Himalayan is an accomplished tourer from Royal Enfield with some good reviews from other media sources.
It is also regarded as the most versatile tourer in lower displacement as it takes the rider anywhere.

Comparison
There is no change in the specs when compared between the new and the earlier variant.
However, now the new Himalayan comes with additional three paint schemes
- Rock red
- Lake blue and
- Gravel gray
The earlier paint schemes are Sleet gray, Granite black and snow white.
Motor
With 411cc, Single cylinder, four-stroke, SOHC, air-cooled, fuel injection motor. The Himalayan carries 24.3 bhp (17.88kw) @ 6500 rpm and torque as 32 Nm @ 4000 – 4500 rpm.
Himalayan comes with 199 kgs and also has a five-speed transmission with a top speed of 122 to 145 km/h.
Chassis, Suspension and Brakes
The cradle frame houses the entire structure and comes supported by Telescopic, 41 mm forks, 200 mm travel on front and rear with Monoshock with linkage, 180 mm wheel travel.
As for the brakes, on the front the Himalayan comes with 300 mm disc, 2-piston floating calliper and rear comes with 240 mm disc, single-piston floating calliper.
And Dual-channel ABS (switchable to a single channel. ABS – Rear-wheel ABS control deactivation.
Price in the Philippines
So the Royal Enfield Himalayan bs6 price is around 299,000 Philippine peso which is close to Rs 4.53 lakh,
As far as the Indian price goes, the Himalayan starts from Rs 1,91,400.
