The Range Rover Evoque is about to receive an update. The test vehicle reveals a few tweaks, like a new grille, revised front fascia, and a different taillight light signature.

New updates

The grille pattern of linked rectangles now matches the design used on the redesigned 2022 Range Rover and 2023 Range Rover Sport. This will help strengthen the Range Rover connection now that it is being made its brand within the JLR (formerly Jaguar Land Rover) fold.

There will likely be tweaks inside the updated Evoque, too, like a revised infotainment system and possibly some new trim materials.

The sole powertrain the Evoque offers is a 2.0-litre turbo-4 rated at 246 hp in the standard guise or 296 hp with a mild-hybrid system attached. A 9-speed automatic and all-wheel-drive system complete the drivetrain. It needs to be clarified if there will be any changes with this update.

Nameplate

The current Evoque, the nameplate’s second generation, arrived in 2019 as a 2020 model. The update will likely constitute a mid-cycle refresh for the compact crossover. Look for it to be introduced next year on a 2025 Evoque.

The Evoque’s Discovery Sport sibling should also be updated around the same time.

Eventually, the Range Rover Evoque and Discovery Sport will eventually be redesigned around a new fully electric platform called the EMA. The first vehicle based on the EMA platform will arrive in 2025 and is tipped to be a redesigned Range Rover Velar.

Here are some of the details of the upcoming 2025 Range Rover Evoque facelift:

  • New grille with linked rectangles design
  • Revised front fascia
  • Different light signatures for the taillights
  • Revised infotainment system
  • Possibly some new trim materials
  • Same 2.0-litre turbo-4 engine with a mild-hybrid system
  • Mid-cycle refresh
  • Introduction in 2025

Conclusion

The 2025 Range Rover Evoque facelift is a minor update, but it should help to keep the popular compact crossover fresh. The new styling changes will give the Evoque a more modern look, while the revised infotainment system will provide a more user-friendly experience. Overall, the 2025 Range Rover Evoque facelift is a good value for buyers looking for a stylish and capable compact crossover.
