The iconic annual show that has been running for the past couple of years. Showcasing the most refined custom motorcycles from a mixture of the UK and international builders has come to a close.

Finest custom motorcycles

The Bike Shed Show is held at Tobacco Dock in London and sees over 300 bikes on display with a marketplace, and live music. And entertainment that takes over the Wapping landmark at the end of May each year. This year’s event was held on May 27th, 28th and 29th and welcomed some of the best custom motorcycles we’ve ever seen.

The London-based event has its roots as a chance for a group of friends to show off their bikes in a trendy bar set up. But in recent years has developed into one of the most anticipated custom bike shows each season.

The Bike Shed Show is not just an event but an experience. A culmination of all things custom. An event like no other ties into the same spirit. That’s brought thousands of builders, fans, and friends together every year in London since 2013. The show itself celebrates one of the most democratic and free-spirited cultures.

With more than 300 custom motorcycles and a crowd of over 5,000 fans. The Bike Shed Show is becoming one of the most incredible motorcycle events in Europe right now.

The objective

The first edition ever took place in 2013 and happened to look like an astounding garage gathering. Where custom bike enthusiasts could hang out, show off their rides and enjoy some barbecue.

Their website describes the event as “For the People who Love Motorcycles and the People who Love People who Love Motorcycles“. Which we applaud as it underlines their true motive – to have a great time with good people and motorcycles.

The Bike Shed Show has grown into one of the most eagerly anticipated gatherings of like-minded brands and people that we know. Not just because of what’s on display and who you meet but also due to its relaxed atmosphere where you can get up close and personal with some truly magnificent machines and wander around.

Cool hosts

The show is hosted by Dutch and Vikki from the Bike Shed Motorcycle Club. They manage to find a way to curate an entire event. That oozes the same kind of carefree, joyful creativity found in any excellent motorcycle custom build.

The resulting mixture helps you understand that motorcycles are a blank canvas, with no limits to your imagination or imagination. Translating into some of the most amazing machines you’ll ever see. You can also get hold of a beer and look at MotoGP on giant TV screens with good food and some incredible live band.

The bikes are produced by some of the most talented people in their fields from across the globe. Any motorcycle enthusiast will be excited to attend and soak up all the ideas. Creativity, and inspiration on display.

Quality

The quality of motorcycles popping up at the annual Bike Shed Show is rapidly evolving and getting more impressive with each passing year. As with previous years, there were some real standouts during the show. Whether they were new automotive or previous Bike Shed Show winners, each was an incredible feat of human ingenuity.

Talking to Pipeburn, Dutch says, “Every brand, retailer, artist, photographer, and exhibitor is selected and approved by us. Every barista, bartender, burger (or salad-box), and coffee bean is tried & tested, and the organising staff are all bike-loving volunteers and members of the BSMC. The event is extremely family-friendly, safe for kids, and enjoyable for non-bike-riders and custom enthusiasts.”
