In 2021, the British Supersport Championship will see the return of Legendary British Brand Triumph Motorcycles racing. With an official factory-backed team in collaboration with Performance Technical Racing.

Team racing Triumph – PTR will be the result of a partnership between the Hinckley-based brand.
And the team racing led by Simon Buckmaster who claims a glorious past in many competitions. Such as the Supersport World Championship and the Island TT of Man.
Triumph Motorcycles will officially support PTR by developing the motorcycle used for the upcoming season of the British Supersport Championship.
Which will be directly derived from the Street Triple RS and its 765 three-cylinder engine. And has shown outstanding performance and reliability during of the last two editions of the Moto2 World Championship.
The main objective of this project is not only to mark the return of a UK legend brand in the paddock of the world’s most important national motorcycle championship.
The British Superbikes – but also to achieve immediate results as well as to develop the Team and machine to compete in Supersport World Championship starting in 2022.
