What we see here are two upcoming lower displacement BS6 models from BMW Motorrad.
The video has caught testing both the prototypes in the state of Haryana, India.
They are G 310 R and G 310 GS. Now, this again shows BMW Motorrad is likely to bring these models soon to dealers.
Let’s look at what changes in these upcoming models.
- Both the models will arrive with full-blown LED headlamps. Gone are the days of standard bulbs, and every motorcycle manufacturer is trying to put there best. And there comes the LED’s
- We can also observe from the video about the large size headlamp cluster, which is even more angular.
- Styling and design of both these models remain as is. However, we see the R getting sportier with the beefy fuel tank.
- The main change we will be able to see is the engine.BS6 models will notably get the amended engine, and the engine will align with the BS6 norms.
- Blacked out components takes the place of the aluminium-finished crankcase.
- We don’t see any changes in the displacement and power figures of upcoming BMW G 310 R and G 310 GS as the present models come with 313cc, liquid cool, single-cylinder engine that makes around 33bhp.
- When it comes to price, we feel BMW may well consider the price factor and keep it the same, which is INR 2.99 lakhs for BMW G 310 R and INR 3.49 lakh for G 310 GS.
The arrival date is not known, but we feel BMW will release these models somewhere by the end of 2020.
