For 2021 the next-generation MT-07 gets distinctive new bodywork with twin winglet-type air intakes and a compact new LED headlight that projects a futuristic Y-shape face – the signature style for the latest Hyper Naked models. And the refined EU5-compliant engine gives even more linear response with a gutsier exhaust note.

New wider aluminium taper handlebars give easier turning and a more commanding riding position.
At the same time, larger 298mm dual front discs deliver stronger braking.
And the inverted LCD instruments, as well as black control levers and compact.LED flashers to underline the top specification and best-in-class value.

Engine
The 690cc 2-cylinder EU5 CP2 engine develops 73.4 hp at 9,000 rpm which is less by 1.4 hp compared to the old variant with 67Nm torque at 6,500 rpm. Plus the engine also gets the crystal graphite covers, a new end cover and a silver exhaust.

The 270-degree engine sequence helps to get a healthy exhaust note, and during the acceleration, it gets torque focused.

Body
With a more compact body, the 14-litre side view of the tank gets the air-ducts which helps a seamless airflow in and out. Now comes integrated with the visual appeal of the MT-07.

The MT-07 arrives with the new front brakes. 4mm increase in the size of the discs the earlier variant had 288mm double discs while the current get the 292mm.

At the opposite end, the MT-07 gets the 245mm brake. The inverted LCD dash comes shared from the Tracer 700.

The dash has a compact design and operable from rearranged switchgear controls for a modern rider cockpit.
Further, the high-end dash provides information like the odometer, tachometer, gearbox and clock.
Blinkers look more modern and sharp. The front-wheel gets 120/70 ZR 17M/C(58W) (Tubeless), and rear gets the 180/55 ZR 17M/C(73W) (Tubeless) Michelin Road 5 tires respectively.

The 32mm wider aluminium handlebar give the rider a comfortable posture to ride. To get the distinct look the clutch and levers get the black colour.

Price
The deliveries will start in January 2021. In Europe, the new Yamaha MT-07 2021 will retail at 7,249 Euros.
