The Yamaha MT 15 is an exciting motorcycle. It was launched in India at the very beginning of 2018. And it has been able to create much buzz around itself thanks to its aggressive pricing and performance. 

The MT 15 and the other motorcycles launched by Yamaha, including the R15 version 2.0.Have helped the Japanese manufacturer establish their brand in the Indian two-wheeler market.

Sources close to Yamaha informed the Japanese two-wheeler giant would launch the updated version of the MT 15 during 2022. 

However, the launch is likely to happen either in the second quarter or third quarter. Our dealer sources said and added the motorcycle might get a couple of changes.And one of these will be a Bluetooth-enabled instrument cluster.

For the first time, this model will be getting Bluetooth connectivity and smartphone notifications on its instrument cluster. The MT series has always been a step behind Yamaha’s FZ and R1 series, losing some critical features.

However, with the last major update included a new instrument cluster, ABS and slipper clutch.It seems the company is ready for more now.

The Yamaha MT 15 has made a name for itself in the Indian market. As a beginner’s bike and one of the best all-rounders. 

Three years after its launch, there is still no competition to the MT 15. Which continues to be a sales standout at big dealerships across India.

It comes with many goodies  promote its value-for-money appeal. And significantly improve the overall riding experience. 

But there are some shortcomings.Like the lack of upside-down front forks despite being an offered feature on the YZF R15 V4. 

However, we will see the 155cc, liquid-cooled engine with variable valve actuation makes 18.23bhp and 13.9Nm supported by a six-speed gearbox. 

Possibly expect a slight price rise due to new components.
