Finally, the super sports from Honda, the CBR600R, had made its much-awaited debut in Malaysia.
The prototype was out in August 2020. In Japan, we have seen the race-ready version built by HRC in a limited count.
The look and design of the model imitate its elder sibling, the new CBR1000RR-R.
2021 Honda CBR600RR
The aggressive look of the new supersport 2021 Honda CBR600RR constitutes dual LED headlights. The side profile has full fairing with embedded winglets.
With a lean riding position, the bike is considered highly aerodynamic. The model comes available with a full-fledged TFT display for riding information, two customizable riding models, and three presets.
The new CBR600R has a 599 cc liquid-cooled inline four-cylinder engine to get an insight into the basic specifications.
The engine produces a power of 119.35 bhp at 14000 rpm and a maximum torque of 63 Nm at11500 rpm.
The rider will have a fantastic ride with 41 mm fully adjustable USD Showa front suspension and Showa Pro-Link rear suspension.
The braking system comes equipped with dual-channel. ABS with a 310 mm double disc at the front and a 220 mm single disc at the rear.
The bike has specific safety features like an emergency stop signal. Slipper clutch, wheelie control, torque control, Honda electronic steering damper, and a traction control system.
The bike comes available only in one colour option. Grand Prix Red with a price tag of RM 98,888 (ex-showroom), which, if converted, is equal to Rs 17.82 lakh.
After entering the Indian market, the model will compete with the Aprilia RS660, Yamaha YZF R6, and the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R.
The date or year of the new 2021 Honda CBR600R in the Indian market is not known and will not be expected as of now.
