A lot is going in Husqvarna’s stable, and we do it see if from the traction developed by Husqvarna for the upcoming Norden 901.

Recently we saw two Norden 901 prototypes exploring the breathtaking terrain of Iceland.

In the video, we get to see Husqvarna’s latest prototype in action through gorgeous footage shot in Iceland. All done, Husqvarna crew and explorer Mike Horn and multiple Dakar Rally winner Cyril Despres ride Norden 901 prototypes.

It looks like they get plenty of time riding through some of the island’s more challenging terrain. And even gets to sample the Norden 901 in a race alongside themselves on the same course.

That last bit might be my favourite viewing of all. It’s an excellent chance to get a feel for what the current Norden 901 is like compared to a top-tier competition bike.

Latest sypshots

Before this, Husqvarna had released a couple of videos wherein Husqvarna gives us an in-depth look at the Swedish manufacturer’s new range-topper revealing how its aluminium front end was carefully machined.

And now few see more spy shots from Motomag.com and Todocircuito.com. As we said earlier, Husqvarna will build the bike on the same platform as KTM 890 Adventure, which will make 107 hp at 8,000 rpm and with a peak torque of 100 Nm at 6,500 rpm.

High-quality WP suspension components & new rear shock, and a full-size TFT dashboard arrive from KTM 890 ADV. In the latest Norden 901 sypshots, we do see a single display which we would also see on the upcoming KTM bikes.

The 889.5cc motor may undergo a slight change and get a devoted setting for the long hauls.

Concept vs Prototype vs Production

The windshield and the headlight we see in the prototype remains faithful to the concept. Here we had already compared the Concept vs Prototype vs Production.

And from the looks of this prototype, we see the new ADV is almost ready for the production version.
