Italia from Magni

The motorcycle world is synonymous with one name ‘ Arturo Magni ‘. However, the master is no more and s left the world five years ago.

His legacy is taken care of by his son Giovanni. To dedicate to his father Giovanni has built a one-off bike ‘ Italia.’

The sensational Italia gets the motor from Brutale 800. The Brutale 800 comes with 125hp of power.

Arturo was the Magni company’s founder but long before he began his adventure in the motorcycle sector at Gilera. 

 Later moved to MV Agusta in 1950, where he held director of the Racing Department until 1976, the year the historical Department.

He actively contributed to the victory of 37 brand world titles and 38 drivers’ world titles. Accumulating years of unparalleled experience, which he then poured into the company he started in 1977.

He created his motorcycles by instilling a distinctive and unique character. Making the deep bond with the MV Agusta brand and Italian motorcycle history transpire.

Sporty line and setting, with apparent references to the 60s and 70s motorcycles, and red colour. 

A symbol of the victories of Italian motorcycles and cars globally have characterized the most critical projects.

Dedication

Today Magni wants to remember and enhance Arturo’s work by presenting this new model Italy 01/01. With MV Agusta Brutale 800cc 3-cylinder engine. 

Magni makes the chassis with updates in the geometry. And line characterized by a detail present in many models designed by Arturo.

The lines of the saddle and tank, which recall the racing MV Agusta’s shapes, come coupled with a new half-fairing, specially designed for this model, very streamlined and at the same time light in shape.

The half fairing is an accessory Arturo wanted in many of his models because “while giving a sporty appearance to the bike. 

It leaves all the beauty of the mechanical structure of the engine in view”.

To make the new model even more exclusive, Magni used the best of national production for components.

  • The engine made by MV Agusta.
  • The braking system, with 320mm floating discs and 4-piston callipers, by Brembo.
  • The suspension department has a fork with classic lines, reminiscent of the historic 70s GP forks, made exclusively by ORAM.
  • JoNich Wheels spoked wheels, specially designed and prepared for tubeless tires.
  • Rubber grips with a typical 70s design by Ariete Sandro Mentasti.
