With changing the style and looks the new cruiser will be an additional weapon in Royal Enfield’s arsenal.

Specs

Snapshot clearly shows the cruiser having an outstanding style. However, on the other front, we look at its saddle height, which is low compared to its Continental GT650 and Interceptor 650.

The performance specs will arrive from its siblings, and they will undoubtedly be 684cc para twin-cylinder motor capable of producing 47 PS(46.35 hp) of power and 52 Nm of torque.

The fuel tank looks beefy we hope a fair amount of fuel may go into it.

The round LED headlight does look like it comes loaned from Continental GT.

The small round LED blinker looks sharp. The prototype has split seats for the rider and the pillion.

Other features will involve the more flat and wide handlebar, analogue/digital dash.

Unlike the Tripper feature in the newly unveiled Royal Enfield Meteor 350, the new cruiser will have the Tripper function.

Further, it will arrive with slipper clutch, ABS, upside-down forks. And unlike the Interceptor 650, it will come in two-tone paint schemes.

Expect the price on a premium side, which does mean it will go above Rs 3 Lakh (ex-showroom).

When it comes to the arrival, we see the prototype is already ready, and Royal Enfield may put in production version by mid-2021.

However, one thing will be useful to note. Not all the features in any prototype will arrive in the production version.

The rule applies to all the motorcycle manufacturers. So it will be useful to see what Royal Enfield stacks in there new 650 cc powerhouse.
