Mr.Rakesh Sharma, Executive Director of Bajaj Auto in an interview with Zeebiz said they are ready to unveil the Husqvarna bikes. The plan is to unveil the bikes in the first week of December 2019.

Bajaj will unveil the two of its much-awaited Husqvarna motorcycles Svartpilen 401 and Vitpilen 401 in India Bike Week 2019 in Goa. The India Bike Week is scheduled for the week of 6th December 2019.

A few days ago both these motorcycles were spied in India . They will conme with specs 373.2cc single-cylinder, DOHC, liquid-cooled engine that is capable to produce 44 PS and 37 Nm of peak torque.

Same when compared with KTM 390 Duke. Both Husqvarna models will be aligned to BS-VI norms.

6-speed gear transmission with 320 mm disc brakes at the front and at the rear they get 230mm disc brakes. Combined with dual-channel Bosch ABS. Both the motorcycles comes with slipper clutch and USD forks at the front and adjustable mono-shock at the rear.

However,  bookings are already started for these motorcycles at a handful dealers. Anyone can prebook the bike with an amount of Rs, 5,000.

KTM dealers in India will be responsible to cater  these two motorcycles. There are high chances that these motorcycles will be exported by Bajaj as the production has already begun at Bajaj’s Pune plant.

Bajaj will start delivering these bikes from January 2020. The price tag will be around INR 2.5 to 3 Lakhs.
