The Bimota KB4 is one of the most exquisite manufactured superbikes but limited production. So those of you who are salivating to get your hands on this bike! Bimota Japan just opened its first purchase application window for the KB4, and there will be more than one. However, we are not sure how many such application windows Bimota will open in future.

Bimota Japan opened its initial purchase window for the new KB4 superbike from January 17 to January 31, 2022. While specifics are still lacking and are likely to remain until closer to how many units Bimota are planning to bring during this window.

However, they have stated their intent to release a flow chart depending on how many purchase applications they receive while the purchase window is open.

Interested parties will put in their applications for the first KB4 delivery. If there are more purchasers than bikes available at this time, they will enter applicants’ names into a lottery system where only one out of two applicants will receive an available bike.

Rules

The chance is open to anyone who is willing to make a substantial cash investment and can legally acquire such an expensive vehicle.

They will only offer the right-to-purchase agreement with any applications not selected for the first purchase window being rolled into the next chance of becoming own this exclusive vehicle. Bimota won’t consider the Application beyond the window timeframe.

Bimota Japan provides two options for their contract negotiations. With the purchase window getting open for winners of the KB4 contract negotiations, there are a few things you should know before buying one of these beautiful bikes.

The gist is that you’ll have to decide whether you want to buy in person or online using Microsoft Teams. And both types of contracts have strict time limits.

Further, there are again rules that you should obey or follow.

  • To take the delivery, the buyer must be living in Japan.
  • Ability to pay the MSRP of the KB4, which is ¥ 4,378,000 ($38,207), and it includes the Japanese consumption tax.
  • It would help if you also remembered that dealers could set different prices for the KB4.

Further details are available on the website.
