The brand’s latest collaboration with QJMotor results from Harley-Davidson’s desire to diversify its product portfolio. Harley-Davidson has always appreciated the Chinese market, one of the company’s most lucrative.

Massive demand for its bikes drew Harley-Davidson to establish relations with manufacturers from China. Thus, it created the Harley-Davidson 338R for Asian customers.

However, QJ Motor unveiled a new engine with a capacity of 353cc. The 353cc motorcycle is different from the American manufacturers’ other bikes.

353cc para twin engine

That’s because it receives a small capacity 353cc parallel-twin engine from a Chinese manufacturer, QJMotor. And this was revealed after QJ Motor filed an approval document for the model with the code name HD350.

While the company has said it plans to begin selling its motorcycles in China, details are few and far between. Now, we have the first official photos of the model, along with more information about how it is a collaboration between Harley and QJMotor.

However, looking at the pictures, and will most likely be called X350. The X350 gets most of the components from Benelli 302S and QJMotor SRK350.

The document reveals little about performance specs having 36hp, weighing 195kgs having a top speed of up to 145km/h. It also gets the same suspensions similar to Benelli 302S. At the same time, it has 120/70-17 front and 160/60-17 rear tires.

X500

Also mentioned in the approval document is a second model: Harley-Davidson X500, which takes inspiration from Benelli Leoncino 500.

The current Benelli Leoncino 500 has a 500cc in line 2 cylinders, 4-stroke, liquid-cooled, DOHC, four valves per cylinder engine that makes 47.5 PS @ 8500 rpm.

And we expect the Harley-Davidson X500 to get the exact figures and loan components from Benelli Leoncino 500.

However, Harley-Davidson has yet to disclose both models’ prices and dates of availability so stay tuned for that.
