In EICMA 2022, the Asian nation of China saw the launch of several brands, including Kove.

The weapon of choice showcased includes an adventure, rally bike, enduro, and a sport bike.

Now that the dust has settled, we can start talking about Kove’s first model – the 400RR. Kove is a new bee in motorcycle manufacturing and started their operation in 2017.

Kove Motorcycles is the latest Chinese manufacturer to venture into the international market, bringing its flagship 400RR Sportbike. The latter has been dubbed an all-rounder sportbike in a class of its own, boasting a 400cc, inline-four-cylinder engine.

Kove also revealed that it had beaten Kawasaki to the punch as Team Green has yet to show off and launch the much anticipated Ninja ZX-4R for the global markets.

The brand claims the 400RR can be used on the track and in regular traffic. It comes with a premium fairing design, an oversized gas tank and a new frame made entirely of steel.

The bike also gets winglets and an intake duct at the front of the fairing between two headlights. Rather than the standard, Kove has used the single-sided swingarm made from aluminium.

Specs

On the performance front, Kove 400RR has a 400cc liquid cooling, fuel injected, inline-four cylinder engine with dual overhead-camshaft produced in-house and is capable of making 67 horsepower at 13,500 rpm and 21 lb-ft of torque at 12,000 rpm.

The Kove 400RR is lightweight as it weighs 158 kilograms having a top speed of 220 kilometres per hour (137 miles per hour).

However, Kove has yet to announce the price and availability date.
