Honda started production of its much-acclaimed cruiser Rebel 300 in 2017.
From 2017 the model was present in countries like Thailand and North America.
However, in subsequent years, like in 2018 and 2019, the model was present only in North America.
Dubbed as CMX300, it had Honda CMX250 Rebel as its predecessor.
Now Honda plans to bring the CMX300 aka Rebel 300 to India.
Mark, your calendar as Honda is all set to launch its lower displacement cruiser Rebel 300 in India.
The launch will take place on Septemeber 30. Honda has already launched the teaser of its exhaust note.
From the exhaust note, we do realize it is Rebel 300. The cruiser gets 27.2 inches seat height which is lowest seats in anyone’s lineup.
The Rebel 300 weighs 165 kgs (364 pounds). Additionally, it comes with slipper clutch, superior handling, 300 cc, single-cylinder sporty motor.
Cast wheels on the rear and the front. There are two trims available Rebel 300 standard and Rebel 300 ABS. At the same time, the ABS may cost a little more.
Both these trims are also available in three different paint schemes Matte fresco brown, Graphite black and Matte blue jeans metallic.
In North America the 2020 Honda Rebel 300 standard is priced at $4,499 (Rs 3,30,507 Lakh) and Rebel 300 ABS comes with $4,799 ( Rs 3,52,546).
It is still unclear which trim Honda will bring in India. However, the Rebel 300 will compete with Royal Enfield motorcycle.
