The trend of BS-VI is fast catching in India . And while we see every motorcycle manufacture putting there best step forward.

However, Honda is at the forefront as it had launched the BS-VI Honda Activa variant in November 2019. It is now iavailable all over India.

Before few days Yamaha and TVS brought there much-acclaimed. BS-VI models in the form of Fascino 125 Fi and TVS Jupiter  followed now by Piaggio’s scooters BS-VI Vespa and Aprilia

Overall we don’t see many changes in the BS-VI models apart from the engines. And then they need to be strictly aligned with the BS-VI emission norms that come to play from April 2020 in India.

In terms of numbers, we got to know from Auto Economic Times that. Honda has already sold 60,000 units of there new Activa.

The government of India also has a plan to introduce new fuels that comes with less amount of sulfur and carbon.

Therefore every manufacturer is planning to bring the BS-VI soon.

The price of the new Activa starts from Rs 67,000, which is 13 percent higher than its earlier version.Price of new Honda Activa SP 125 BS-VI variant starts from Rs 72,000

Honda had filed 19 patents for this scooter. There is also a 14 to 16 percent increase in mileage of Activa SP 125. Buyer also gets a six-year warranty on this scooter.

The higher prices are because Honda had filed multiple patents and due to technology change. Said Honda’s senior vice-president for sales & marketing Yadvinder Singh Guleria.
