2021-Husqvarna-Norden-901-Concept

Husqvarna is undoubtedly taking its time. While some brands are content to converse about the product for weeks before finally showing it off in an overly-produced launch video.

Months after the initial concept has been revealed, the Swedes prefer to take their time and get everything just right.

Today, we look at some of the work that went into the Norden 901’s forks. The latest video from Husqvarna gives us an in-depth look at the Swedish manufacturer’s new range-topper revealing how its aluminium front end was carefully machined.

Furthermore, Husqvarna is already looking towards the total production of the Norden 901. We think they dint even plan to release it as soon as they did.

The Norden Team

The project leader for Norden 901 is, as you might expect, also part of the design team.

But he’s not designing or choosing finishes or fixtures.Even though those would all be beautiful attributes in a project leader.

He’s assigned to everyone on the design team. And every other team to ensure everyone has everything they need to do their job well.

Depending on the size of a project you could have people working on energy efficiency, environmental sustainability, high-quality design and construction, living spaces.

There are dozens involved in making any house happen. Thankfully, Husqvarna Norden 901 is a small production.

But the point is, even without factory lines, the 901 still has many pieces to put together.

And Husqvarna’s video reminds us this kind of stuff choosing components. And materials and parts and sub-sub-assemblies all happens locally, at the Norden factory.

It’s not just a matter of coordinates on a CAD drawing. There are actual human beings making things here, in Sweden.

Now, let’s see how the whole crew does come together. Husky has put together this behind-the-scenes look at all the team working every day to ensure the product gets the best possible launch.
