The Brutale platform isn’t showing any signs of slowing down either, as MV Agusta has many bikes in the pipeline, all using the signature chassis layout.

The newest addition to this family of brutish machines is a restyled version of the 998cc Brutale.

But what’s next? According to a new teaser posted to MV Agusta’s Facebook page, the Brutale will soon get a redesigned from Andrea Tamburini. At the same time, we don’t see much from the video apart from some excellent bodywork.

The Brutale’s arrive in two displacements, 798cc and 998cc, having 140 and 208 hps, respectively.

Massimo’s legacy

If you’re a motorcyclist, you probably know who Massimo Tamburini is. The famous designer was behind some of the most famous bikes, like the Ducati 916 and MV Agusta F4. And Andrea Tamburini is Massimo’s son.

MV Agusta has long been associated with design patriarch Massimo Tamburini, but the upcoming Moto Ritmo could mark his legacy’s swan song.

For now, though, the Italian brand is celebrating its founder’s work with the Brutale restyling project.

This project is led by Andrea Tamburini, son of motorcycle design icon Massimo, and sees the world-renowned designer reinterpret his father’s acclaimed designs.

The work will occur at MV Agusta’s Modena Motor Gallery, where the brand pays tribute to its legacy by displaying critical models in its history.

Quote from Andrea

Talking to Italian web magazine Moto.it Andrea said

“By the end of the year, we will officially present the restyling of the Brutale 1090, 990, and 920″. “We will give an aesthetic continuity to the first version of the Brutale MV made by my father.”

The video is minimalist, showing only the redesigned side profile of the motorcycle over an otherworldly ambient tune.

While it’s not much to go on, we see some new lines on the motorcycle’s bodywork.

Will this be a restyled variant, or will MV rework the design with an entirely new style? Let’s watch until the next teaser t what MV Agusta and Andrea Tamburini has in store for us.
