It’s been a long time coming, but the 2022 King of the Baggers Championship will finally see the green flag waved. Over one of the craziest motorcycle races in existence as part of Daytona 200 Weekend.

This expansion creates a buffer zone between the Daytona 200 weekend. And the start of the Rolex 24 at Daytona.

So MotoAmerica team owners have a little more time to prepare their teams.

But it also leaves many fans scratching their heads about why it took so long to get KOBB onto its first quad-oval race track.

Let us talk about what is going to happen at Daytona International Speedway in 2022. 

It is a hot topic as of late as the announcement came from MotoAmerica. And Daytona International Speedway that they will be co-hosting race weekends.

However, further, the 2022 Daytona 200 will not be a part 2022 MotoAmerica Supersport Championship. And it will involve MotoAmerica’s administration.

The race will involve new rules based on the 2022 World Supersport technical regulations. A few changes are coming for the event. The biggest news is the fact that the 2022 Daytona will be an Open Tire event.

So we will be able to see the strong middleweights like the MV Agusta F3, Triumph 765 or Ducati Panigale V2.Who will go head-on against Kawasaki ZX-6Rs, Yamaha YZF-R6 and Suzuki GSX-R600.

So the excellent riders across the globe and compete for a $175,000 purse.And contingency package awarded to the 2022 winner.
