Do Norton Motorcycles have a silver lining? That is a question, we have been asking ourselves for a while now.

But it does seem like Norton is moving in safe hands as TVS gets one step closer to buying Norton. Which we have hinted previously.

While in the past Indian motorcycle manufacturer Kinetic Motoroyale has already pulled out of the bid and one strong reason being complicated financial transactions.

TUPE

Now Superbike reports Indian manufacturer TVS is one step closer to buying Norton. The TUPE received word on the current Norton employees who will move from Norton to Project 303 Bidco Limited.

We have seen no official statement or an announcement just yet, or there is no information on the deal, but the interesting part that we see is.

Project 303 Bidco Limited

Established on April 2nd 2020 Project 303 Bidco Limited shows information of Kunnath Narayanan Radhakrishn who holds the position of President, Chief Executive Officer & Director at TVS Motor Co. Ltd.

More information reveals  Sharad Mohan Mishra who has signed the TUPE holds the position of President of Group Strategy at TVS Motor Company.

There is no change in the pay or the working hours of employees.

We won’t be able to predict what change TVS will bring when it buys Norton? However, what we do see is that TVS is a strong Indian Motorcycle brand. That has a good set of motorcycle manufacturing capabilities and vast network.
