After submission of the new sketch for its upcoming electric scooter, we now get to see the spied version of KTM 250 Duke.
These spy shots come from 91wheels, and the lightweight 161 kg naked will arrive with changes.
What changes?
Present Duke 250 comes with standard headlights.
However, now we see one significant upgrade, and the spy shots reflect the LED headlights similar to those on 390 Duke.
As far as the rest of the specs are concerned, we don’t see any changes in them.
The design remains as is. The present Duke 250 aligns with the BS6 norms, and therefore we don’t see any changes in the engine.
Now it does mean the engine remains as is with 248cc motor integrated with a six-speed transmission capable of making 29.6bhp at 9,000rpm and 24Nm of torque at 7,500rpm.
Plus we don’t see any structural changes in the upcoming Duke 250.
Thus the new brawny naked will come with LED taillights, digital dash, LED indicators.
Plus there won’t be any changes in the two paint schemes, and they will come with standard Black With Orange and Silver colours.
The LED headlight treatment may well make the price of Duke 250 go up. In the current state, the Duke 250 retails at Rs. 2.04 Lakh (ex-showroom, Pune).
KTM will make an announcement soon before it arrives with the dealerships across India.
