The Triumph Thruxton 400 is a modern classic cafe racer motorcycle that has launched today in India.

It is the newest addition to Triumph’s 400cc lineup, which is a result of the company’s partnership with Bajaj Auto.

The engine is a re-tuned version of the one found in the Speed 400, offering a slightly higher power output and a sportier feel.

Ergonomics:The riding posture is more aggressive and committed than the Speed 400, with a lower handlebar and rear-set footpegs.

Lighting:Full-LED lighting, including a round headlamp with integrated LED DRLs.

Instrumentation:A semi-digital instrument cluster with an analog speedometer and an integrated multi-function LCD screen.

Technology:Ride-by-wire throttle, switchable traction control, and dual-channel ABS.

Suspension:43mm upside-down Big Piston forks in the front and a gas monoshock RSU with external reservoir and pre-load adjustment at the rear.

Pricing and Availability:

The Triumph Thruxton 400 has been launched in India with an ex-showroom price of around ₹2.74 lakh.

It is available in four color options: Lava Red Gloss with Aluminium Silver, Pearl Metallic White with Storm Grey, Metallic Racing Yellow with Aluminium Silver, and Phantom Black with Aluminium Silver.

The motorcycle is a direct competitor to other cafe racer bikes in its segment, such as the Royal Enfield Continental GT 650.
