wsbk-racer-andrea-locatelli-extends-contract-with-yamaha-until-2023

No doubt Pata Yamaha is an excellent team, with Toprak Razgatlioglu’s performing very well. However, we also see his teammate Andrea Locatelli doing very well too.

That’s why it was such a great pleasure to announce today that Andrea has signed a new contract with Pata Yamaha. Which will see him stay with the team until at least 2023.

Sure, there are thrills to be had, but Andrea’s performance has shown just how much fun he can have in WSBK.

I know plenty of fans fancy riders. And I hope Andrea’s performances have inspired them to dig out their kit and get back on two wheels again.

Today’s announcement is excellent news for fans of Andrea. And great news for fans of rider-related entertainment.

So how has Locatelli managed to stay in Yamaha’s favour while the likes of Toprak Razgatlioglu have all moved on?

Well, we can see that the Italian rider has managed to show consistency across everything he does.

Whether during practise sessions or race weekends.Locatelli was consistently one of the fastest riders on the track.

Andrea managed to fight for podium spots, aided by his incredible lap times and ability to do fast, clean laps.

It is a mutual decision by both Yamaha and Andrea. And they are thrilled to continue our journey together.

Yamaha knows Andrea’s talent and how hard he works to make a success of everything he takes on.

We believe it is the perfect time for him to remain with Yamaha after an incredible 2020 and 2021 seasons.

There can be no better endorsement for Yamaha’s commitment towards young talented riders. Than the fact that both third year Yamaha rider Toprak Razgatlioglu and Andrea remain part of our racing family.
