Benelli brings its most ambitious mid displacement adventure tourer 2021 TRK 502 with the updates.

Most critical the new TRK 502 aligns with Euro5 compliance, and the latest version gets few engine and aesthetics upgrades.

It mostly shares the same upgrades with its sibling the TRK 502X.

For both the variants, the performance specs remain the same, and they come with 500cc, four valves, electronic fuel injection which has double overhead camshaft distribution motor.

The motor makes 47.6hp at 8,500rpm and gets 46Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm.

Well to align with the new Euro5 norm Benelli has amended the motor as well the exhaust unit. To reduce the carbon emissions at the start, Benelli has brought the secondary air system.

Further, there is a change in the ECU calibration, and Benelli has also shortened the primary gear ratio.

When it comes to aesthetics, there are new graphics. There is an adjustable clutch lever. There are changes in the shapes of handlebars, switches, mirrors and the handguards.

Another feature is that there is an increase in luggage space. When compared with the earlier variant, the main component tubular trellis remains the same.

The single-piston 260mm calliper do the braking duties at the rear while on the front there are two semi-floating 320mm discs which come with four-piston callipers.

With 20 litres fuel capacity further the suspensions are 50mm upside-down fork with 140mm of travel.

The wheels are aluminium alloy with 17inches while the tires are 160/60- 17 inch at rear and 120/70-17 inch at the front.

TRK 502X

Much of the components on the TRK 502X remains same as TRK 502 like the brakes, chassis and the Euro5 motor.

The X comes with 210mm ground clearance compared to the standard variant which has 190mm. Saddle height too is increased in the X variant, and it is 865mm, which is 35mm more than the standard variant.

 

The X also gets aesthetic upgrades like the 19 and 18 inches spoked aluminium alloy wheels.

In Europe, both these variants go on sale from 2021 start. Colours for both the versions are Arthacite and White with Yellow coming in limited copies.

The TRK 502 will retail at Euro 6,240 which is equivalent to Rs 5.50 lakh in India. Despite the changes, the prices in Europe remains the same. However, we expect the prices in India may raise. Let’s wait and watch.

What more they Benelli has also introduced the accessories like top cases, panniers, arrow aftermarket exhausts and more.
