2021- Yamaha-560-TMax-Tech Max

Yamaha Europe has unveiled the new 2021 TMax Tech Max 560 in Europe and let’s get into the nitty-gritty.

Yamaha had unveiled the earlier version in 2019.

Let’s talk about the new 2021 TMax.

Motor

The new Yamaha TMax comes with 562cc,4-valves, DOHC, 4-stroke, Liquid-cooled, EURO5, Parallel twin-cylinder motor. And this 562cc motor calibrates to produce 35.0 kW (46hp) @ 7,500 rpm power and 55.7 Nm @ 5250 rpm torque.

The bore stroke is 70.0×73.0 mm with compression ratio as 10.9:1.

Yamaha claims the new Yamaha TMax for quick acceleration gets 6% more torque, and to run smoothly it comes with a balancer mechanism. 

Besides, it gets the Euro5 tag.

Chassis

The new Yamaha TMax now features motorcycle type chassis with lightweight aluminium twin-spar die-cast frame with the long swingarm.

Robust frame

What more the 562cc motor is directly comes stacked in this frame which offers more rigidity which further gives better performance.

Moving further it the TMax has high specification gold-coloured 41 mm upside-down fork at the front. And at the rear, it comes with the adjustable link-type suspension system with optimizes settings.

Wonderful suspension and brakes

The front brakes are hydraulic dual disc brake while at the rear we see the hydraulic single disc brake.

It also gets 120/70R15M/C 56H tubeless tire at the front and the rear it has 160/60R15M/C 67H tubeless.

Design

The design is aggressive, and the body panels come worked upon with redesigned ‘ boomerang ‘ side sections give a more refined and dynamic appearance. At the rear, it now features the ‘T’ shape light and lightweight side covers with vents.

The rider can now adjust the electric screen by 13 mm up or down, enabling to select the optimum setting for maximum comfort around highway or town.

The other crucial feature it comes with heated grips and seat so you can stay warm and comfortable and enjoy every journey.

Revised ergonomics ensure higher levels of riding comfort. And the newly designed footboards give improved ground accessibility to the rider and the pillion.

The rear section is slim, and it offers easy pillion access for footrests. Beneath the seat, the new TMax comes also gets the large storage space.

Large storage space

The illuminated compartment can accommodate one full-face helmet and two jet helmets.

And the spacious weatherproof locker is the ideal place to carry a briefcase, a sports gear or groceries.

Electronic package

The cruise control comes as standard. And it operates above 50km/h it also helps to ride in prevailing speed limits.

The compact LED front blinkers comes integrated into restyled panels to give a lighter and agile feel.

For added security, the new TMax also has GPS tracking. Traction control system helps to control the wheel slip when you accelerate on loose or wet surfaces.

D-MODE provides an option for switching to smooth power delivery. Whether you need to start the engine, unlock the seat and unlock or release the centre, stand the keyless ignition makes everything easier.

Smart key function

The monochrome TFT instrument panel has speedometer on the left and tachometer on the right. At the same time, the central display includes the odometer, two trip meters, current and average fuel consumption and outside temperature.

It also has lights for various functions like the D-MODE, ABS and TCS.

Further, to prevent unauthorized use of TMax, it also has a centre stand locking system.
