Further to 2021 ZX-10R and ZX-10RR.Kawasaki has unveiled the recent Z H2 SE version.

The specs remain the same on the 2021 Z H2, SE and SE Performance variant. The new Z H2 SE arrives in Japan with one colour, Metallic Diablo Black x Golden Blaze Green.

The price tag in Japan is 2,178,000 yen. It does mean the Kawasaki Z H2 SE price in India is close to 15 Lakh in Indian rupees.

Which is 998cc, 16valve, liquid-cool, 4-stroke in-line four with supercharger motor capable to calibrate 147.1 kW {200 PS} / 11,000 rpm and 137 Nm {14 kgf.m} / 8,500 rpm.

Comparison of 2021 Z H2, SE and SE Performance variant

The only significant component change among the three models we see are suspension.

The 2021 Z H2 version comes with 

  • On the front is Showa SFF-BP Fork with Adjustable Compression and Rebound Damping, Spring Preload Adjustability. Simultaneously, the SE and SE Performance comes with ø43 mm inverted fork (SFF-CA) with KECS-controlled compression and rebound damping, manual spring preload adjustability, and top-out springs.
  • And on the rear, the 2021 ZH2 comes with New Uni-Trak, Showa Gas-Charged Shock with Adjustable Compression and Rebound Damping, Preload Adjustability. In comparison, the SE and SE Performance has New Uni Trak, BFRC lite gas-charged shock with piggyback reservoir, KECS-controlled compression and rebound damping, manual spring preload adjustability, and top-out spring.

The new 2021 Z H2 loses 1 kg, 239kg, while the SE and SE performance has 240kilograms.

Now we compare the 2020 Z H2 with the 2021 Z H2.

We only see few changes among the 2020 Z H2 and the 2021 Z H2.

  • The 2020 Z H2 gets Dual Disc w/Radial-mount M4.32 Calipers, ABS brakes on the front, while the 2021 Z H2 has Dual 320mm Disc w/Radial-mount Brembo M4.32 Calipers, along with Brembo master cylinder and steel mesh braided brake lines.
  • The 2020 Z H2 comes Single 260mm petal-style disc with a single-piston calliper, ABS on the front. And the new 2021 Z H2 comes with a Single 250mm disc with a single-piston calliper, KIBS.
  • Apart from the above 2021, Z H2 comes with the introduction of KECS. It allows Kawasaki to offer Skyhook technology. The Skyhook concept imagines the hook supporting the sprung weight of the Z H2 SE. And modulates the damping force, so the wheel tracks the dips and bumps. Encountered while maintaining the motorcycle composure with minimal disturbance.
  • Further, the 2021 ZH2 comes with a tank pad and pillion seat cover, fat type handlebar, easy to read TFT panel and ability to connect to your smartphone by downloading the Kawasaki ideology app.
  • With the app’s help, the rider can change the suspension settings and revise your rider mode setting and review the previous rides you had made along with fuel consumption figures and other crucial statistics.
