Inspired from the snake three students Bart Heijt, Fernando Pastre and Raquel Villani designed the electric concept called as “Zero” which is an collaborative project with Ducati.
Bart said they wanted a design which was compact, lightweight and more aligned to Ducati brand.“The result is a more minimalist and smooth approach, with a contrast two-toned body dividing the sculptural from the technical parts,” he says.
Inspiration is clearly drawn from snake in attacking position which when compared with the concept looks very similar.
This scintillating concept talks about the futuristic designs of bikes .The concept is compact, lightweight and has some cool features.
- Selection of various driving modes like eco, strada or corsa changes the colors of Zero logo on the side of the bike.
- Swingarm is integrated with multilink suspension making the bike lightweight.
- Inorder to keep the batteries cool there are channels for airflow.
I expect Ducati to bring this concept into reality soon as Ducati do have vision to go electric.
