April 2020 will see the new vehicles aligned to BS-VI in India .And we don’t know why Hero Motorcorp will stay behind.
So Hero Motorcorp unveiled three BS-VI vehicles in one shot. One comes under the category motorcycle .Which is Splendor + and two under the category of scooters .And they are Destini 125 and Maestro Edge 125.
Price Tag
- Splendor+ priced at Rs 59,600
- Destini 125 at Rs 64,310 and
- Maestro Edge at Rs 67,950
All the above prices are ex-showroom prices.
Head – Global Product Planning, Hero MotoCorp, Malo Le Masson, said, “With Splendor+ BS-VI.The updated Destini 125 BS-VI and Maestro Edge 125 BS-VI. We have migrated almost our entire portfolio shift to BS-VI norms, well ahead of the deadline.”
Specs of Splendor +
Splendor + comes under the category of motorcycle .That again arrives with a 100cc engine that churns 7.91BHP . At 8000 RPM and torque-on-demand of 8.05 NM at 6000 RPM.
Splendor + also gets what is known as ‘XSens Technology.’
Specs of Maestro Edge 125
The scooter Maestro Edge 125 also comes with. XSens Technology and gets 9 BHO at 7000 RPM and torque-on-demand of 10.4 NM at 5500 RPM, it added.
Destini 125 Specs
The new Destini 125 gets the BS-VI stamp with .9BHP at 7000 RPM and torque-on-demand of 10.4 NM at 5500 RPM with 125cc engine. The engine is the Programmed Fuel Injection engine with ‘XSens Technology.’
