Honda brings replaceable batteries for Gyro series

Honda has used the replaceable battery “Honda Mobile Power Pack” as a commercial electric three-wheeled scooter for business use, “GYRO e:” and “GYRO CANOPY e:”.

Since April 2020 as a result, along with the electric business motorcycle “BENLY e: series” is also sold to corporations. The power source is nothing but a mobile power pack for business use.

Honda will develop two-wheeled vehicles and three-wheeled scooters as the “Honda e: Business Bike” series.

GYRO e 

Honda Gyro e is an electric three-wheel scooter which uses a large, low-floor rear deck is convenient for delivery. 

Honda announced GYRO e at the “46th Tokyo Motor Show 2019” in 2019, and Honda plans to sale in the next spring.

GYRO CANOPY e 

GYRO CANOPY is an electric three-wheel scooter, and it inherits the concept of the three-wheel moped scooter “Gyro Canopy”, which has excellent load taking capability.

Canopy is still active in business applications such as home delivery, even now, celebrating its 30th anniversary since its launch in 1990. The mode will go on sale next summer.

Honda Mobile Power Pack

Honda e: Business bikes have a replaceable battery. You can replace with a pre-charged mobile power pack to drive without having to wait for it to charge. 

Besides, you can choose an electric motorcycle or three-wheeled scooter according to the application of business owners. In various industries, and you can share a mobile power pack. 

Through these efforts, Honda will support daily operations by expanding the options which include the Honda e: business motorcycles. In addition to the conventional gasoline vehicle model.
