Ducati, in collaboration with Bosch, has started the trend to build radar technology. And the first ADV to get radar technology was Multistrada V4.
Honda already plans to bring one on its new Goldwing. BMW already has it on the R 1250 RT.

On the other hand, Kawasaki is working in hybrid technology. Suzuki is building one.
KTM now has filed a patent on radar technology and this they plan to put in on there upcoming colossal 1290 Super Adventure.

The patent shows the radar technology to arrive in the headlights. Located in the middle of two headlights the headlights will get a small circular region.
The patent talks about the location of radar technology. There are three patent drawings, and they all talk about the details of the patent.
The device that emits the radar frequency comes located below the headlight. Whereas the second patent drawing shows, a radar system comes situated at the top of the headlight.
The designs are quite sleek and condensed compared to the other formats of the radar technology.
Further, the third patent design talks about the circular headlight with a radar mechanism.
KTM plans to bring the 1290 Super Adventure in two flavours the R and S.Both these models are expected to get spoked wheels while R will have massive travel suspension.
We expect the 2021 KTM 1290 Super Adventure to arrive in 2021.
