First impressions well it does look like a new Ducati Diavel. But then ooh wait a second.

Let’s take a close look at these drawings. Nah it isn’t Diavel. However, it is quite close to Diavel. The style and the design is a doppelganger of Ducati Diavel.

The 900cc power cruiser comes from Motrac Motorcycles based in China.

Outside China, Motrac has penetrated in regions like Latin America and Southeast Asia where they are responsible for selling over half a million motorcycles.

Performance Specs

When it comes to power specs, we see the V-Twin 900 cc liquid-cooled will provide an output in the range from 65 to 75 hp and max torque as 6.3 kgm.

We don’t have to say more as the structure and design gets encouraged from the Ducati Diavel. Every component looks equal right from dimensions to the seat, the saddle, the fuel tank.

The rear suspension comes with lateral shock absorbers while the opposite end gets an upside-down fork having radial mounts and a  sport-style brake system.

Competitors

The closest competitors we see here are Kawasaki Vulcan 900. The 2021 Vulcan 900 arrives in three different variants Vulcan 900 Classic, Vulcan 900 Custom and Vulcan 900 Classic LT.

2021 Vulcan Classic

All the three has the same 4-stroke, 55-degree V-twin, liquid-cooled motor and five-speed transmission. The changes we see in all three variants are curb weight and seat height.

2021 Vulcan Custom

The torque and power remain the same which is 58.2 lb-ft @ 3500 rpm and 50 hp @ 5700 rpm.

2021 Vulcan Classic LT

On the other hand, the Motrac 900 gets Yamaha XV950R too as a competitor.

The XV950R comes 942cc with air-cooled, 4-stroke, SOHC, 4-valves, V-type 2-cylinder motor capable of having maximum power as 40kW (54.3PS) @ 5,500 rpm and maximum torque as 79.5Nm (8.1kg-m) @ 3,000 rpm.

Yamaha XV950R

However, if Motrac brings this 900 cc-power cruiser soon, it gets the upper hand when it comes to power.

Price

The highest variant among the three 900cc Vulcan 2021 Kawasaki Vulcan 900 Classic LT costs$9,199 USD in the US which is close to 61,659.06 Chinese Yuan and Rs. 6.75 Lakh.

Looking at the power specs and other features like style and design expect the price of Motrac 900 cruiser to be more than the 2021 Kawasaki Vulcan 900 Classic LT.

How soon we may see is still a question.
