Tork Motors plan to unveil the new e-bike

Tork Motors is adding a new beast to its electric bike line-up — possibly a less expensive model that would take its place as the entry point to its full range of e-bikes.

The company will also showcase an updated version of the existing Kratos R at the upcoming Auto Expo 2023.

The prices of the Kratos and its electric variant, the Kratos R, have been increased by Rs 25,000 to Rs 1.37 lakh ex-showroom in India.

Entry level

So far, there has yet to be a word on which bike it will be. The new e-bike could serve as a more accessible entry point than the direct drive we’re likely to see once FAME-II subsidies are set to disappear come March 2024.

The bike will welcome change from our country’s pollution problem caused by combustion engines.

An electric two-wheeler seems like a viable solution to this issue, but only if the prices are correct — and with Ola launching the S1 Air, it would be easy for Tork to come up with a low-cost, entry-level e-bike.

Tork Motors will display its updated Kratos R electric bike at the 2023 Auto Expo. Alongside the new e-bike, Tork will also take the wraps off its updated Kratos R electric bike, although it will only change the e-bike’s styling and not its performance specs.
